What would a world be without music
My Background
After finishing Gymnasium in 2002 I left my hometown Emden in Germany to study abroad in Italy at Ipiall "Antonio Stradivari" in Cremona for violin making.
I had the great opportunity after finishing the international violin making school to gain more experience at the workshop of Eric Blot from 2007-2009. There I had honor to be in touch with the old masterpieces of violin making history to work on and study them.
In 2009 I went back to the North, this time in Utrecht. I had three very precious and instructive years in the workshop of Serge Stam working with my colleague Maki Ishizuka and Serge who taught me so much.
After the split of the workshop in Utrecht I started in 2012 working for Lucienne van der Lans in Dordrecht for another four years in which I had all the space to work out my gained craftsmanship in the violin making business.
In 2016 my family and me decided to move to Aruba, to this wonderful small island in the Caribbean and I decided to finally take the big step and opened up my own business.
